Decisions will continue to be mailed out this week and the next week.

Academic scholarships will be included in the decision packets, but need based financial aid will take a little longer after that.

My daughter’s status turned to admission approved today. RD Dodge Film Studies.

norcal, a very warm congratulations!

Does anyone know if web advisor is updated through out the day, once a day or how it works. My daughter applied RD, her file has been complete since December. The entire family is checking the web advisor all the time and all going crazy as Chapman is her first choice…Waiting is difficult

@ john adams
does that mean if you didnt get scholarship info with the acceptance package then you didnt get a scholarship?

speak, no…

read what I posted again

Para729 I feel your pain. We have been waiting four months! My daughter’s status changed just before noon, but a friend’s son’s changed in the late afternoon, so they must release them as the decision is made. Good luck to your daughter! Waiting is hell!

Waiting is hell, but I got my acceptance at 10:30 PM randomly after waiting for a very long time. Good luck everybody

well, congratulations 21quest!

Still waiting, snow day here in colorado, will be checking that darn web advisor …congrats to every who has heard. Did you all that have gotten word apply regular decision?

thankss john
it was a realllly long wait though aha
are you in or waiting?

You think your wait was long? We are still waiting! April 3 and still says decision pending, having applied to Dodge in November. Could S’s application have fallen through the cracks? Are they still processing applications? I thought all schools were supposed to have decided by April 1. We’ve heard back from every other school to which he applied.

filmparent, you should call them on Monday and find out what’s up. I agree that is a very long wait. Is Chapman his first choice?

Yes, Chapman is his #1 choice, and he applied to Chapman earlier than any of his other schools. I haven’t been able to get anyone in the Admissions office to check on his particular application. Last I checked, they told me that all decisions would be made by April 1. This has been an extremely nerve-wracking experience.

No, I applied for the business school.

I would think at this point you can ask a real person to give you some info. Tomorrow is Apr 5 and decisions need to be made. Maybe there are some missing pieces to the app? My daughter had to send her ACT/SAT scores 3 times to one school. That was frustrating and we finallly heard from them last week but it took forever.

Ugh, I hate hearing this stuff. My D will be applying next year, and I hope it goes smoothly for her because she loves the school.

Fingers crossed for all of you who have not yet heard, that an acceptance package will be in tomorrow’s mailbox!

xyzmom, his status has said that his file has been complete since 1/28. There was a ridiculous snafu where they kept telling us that his h.s. transcripts had not been received, but his school kept assuring us they had been sent back in November. Finally, we learned that because he goes to a small private high school that gives written evaluations instead of computer-generated grades, they didn’t recognize his transcript as a “transcript,” and filed it under supplementary materials. ds got all his materials to them by the 11/15 deadline, but because of the admissions office’s ineptitude, his file wasn’t considered complete until 1/28. So incredibly frustrating for my poor son who has had his heart set on Chapman for over a year. Just checked status again this morning. Still “pending.” Argghh!
