Hello -

I applied early to an "elite" college that is definitely my first choice. When I sent my application, my school sent along my 1st Quarter grades. For one of my very-difficult AP-level classes, I had a very low score (C+). I'm a straight-A student; and my mark in that class would definitely stand out on my transcript, in a negative way.

This week, my 2nd Quarter Interim scores became available. I now have an A- in that class (I worked really, really hard). Unfortunately, my school does not plan on sending those 2nd Quarter scores. In fact, my college counselor pretty much refused to fax the report to this school when I asked.

I personally think that the school should see my new report card, because it shows that I've definitely improved my grade in that class.

So, I'm wondering if I should email my area rep a copy of the report (w/ school letterhead).

Would this be an appropriate reason to contact an area rep? Has anyone else done anything similar before?

Thanks so much for you input!
