Hello
This is my junior year schedule (I am a sophomore right now)
Conceptual Physics (easier than regular and without math, just the concepts)
APUSH
AP Calc AB
AP Lang
AP Stats
Spanish 5
Orchestra
Is this too hard? Some info: I have only one extracurricular: business. I started my own business and have investors and seed money that I have won. So I spend time outside of school doing it but not a whole bunch of things at once. I think I would have time for all of these classes because of that.
This is odd to me…you are taking Calc AB as a junior but are taking easy Physics? Why not AP Physics 1?
Why take AP Stats? I would make that an elective. APUSH is tough…so if you want to take that, get rid of AP stats.
Also what do you want to major in?
I’m personally not very interested in science and don’t want to be a stem major. I’m planning on studying business/finance. That’s why I’m taking the easy physics to focus on Calc and the other classes I like.
Hello! I’m basically in the same boat as you and I am dreading it so much, ahh. I’m taking all the same classes as you , but AP Phsyics 1, Hnrs Spanish 4, and Adv. Debate. Starting your own business is awesome, it’s a tough thing to do, congrats on that! Though most of your classes are AP, every junior I know has reassured me multiple times that once you get through 1 month of each class, it gets considerably easier. If you want to go into business/finance I suggest you take AP econ- if your school offers it. Try to steer your classes towards more business oriented ones- such as accounting. Please feel free to PM me anytime this year or next as we suffer through junior year!
That’s super cool that you started your own business! At my school, AP Lang is renowned as extremely easy for some reason, but I’m not sure if that’s true for your school. I’ve also consistently heard that AP Stats is pretty straight forward and easy. As for APUSH and AP Calc, I’ve heard some difficulties on both ends, but I’ve heard APUSH is easier than AP Euro (if that gives some context). I think the schedule is definitely manageable, if you’re willing to put the work in. I’m actually a sophomore as well, so this is super exciting seeing other people going through the same thing I am going through! If you have free time next year as well, it never hurts to join clubs at school. At my school, we have the Stock Club, which may be of interest to you if your school offers that.
