Hi all…
I applied to the UC schools for the upcoming admission, and I was planning to take Calculus 1 with four other courses. I finished Calculus 2,3, linear Algebra, and Differential Equations so far. I passed AP Calculus AB exam with a score of 4. The reason why I registered Calculus 1 is that I was unsure if UCLA would accept my credit. (UCLA accepts only 5’s, the others are fine) After speaking with several UCLA admission officers, I was able to confirm that I did not need to take Calculus I. So, I decided to drop ( without a W)
But, I totally forgot to take my Calculus 1 course away from TAU. I know I am such a stupid ass… but I mentioned in an additional comment section what the UCLA admission told to me.
What should I do in this case? Can I still modify my TAU, then I am good? Or I should notify each campus? Would that hurt my chance?
Honestly, I wanted to take Calculus 1 for fun, but the course has so much homework and work that I might not be able to handle with my 4 other courses. Right now, I am still enrolled in the Calculus 1 course, because my school’s drop deadline without W’s is 02/08.
What should I do at this point? I might just take it if it affects my chance to get admitted, but I don’t want to waste my time and money if it not.
