I just recently won a major award in my country (Canada) and I was wondering if it was worth notifying college admissions about that? The schools I applied to are quite competitive (Princeton, Amherst etc.) but I was worried that it was too late to submit updates and I don’t want to risk annoying the admissions officers.
Why don’t you review ALL the very recent threads that discuss the same fundamental question?
It’d be far more helpful if you could please direct me to one of them - all I could find among the recent threads in the “College Admissions” section were about Mid Year Reports.
not sure what search terms would easily pop this up, honestly The answer is yes, email admissions with this information and ask them to consider it along with the rest of your application. Also reiterate your interest in the school. Include any other accomplishments you think they should know since your application went in as well.
