Updating for Q1 Senior Year grades

My DD had a great Q1 of Senior Year. All As in 4 AP / 2 Honors classes. She is a strong student already 4.4W / 3.9UW (11 APs in total). Applying as a business undecided major.

Is it worth updating schools for Q1 grades and, if so, is it even possible?

This whole idea got started when I accidentally listened to the UVA Head of Admissions’s blog where she mentioned students should take a screenshot of Q1 grades and update the admissions portal.

Anyone know the process for the following schools:
University of South Carolina (current first choice)
Virginia Tech
UGA
Clemson
UNC
NC State
Elon

You would have to check with each school individually, but my suspicion is that it won’t have an impact, or they’d ask for it from everyone.

I have seen other experts give the same advice as Dean J did, recommending updating schools with excellent first semester grades.

Each school may be different. I would start by looking on the portals for a way to upload an update document.
