I'm interested in Pre-med. Would it matter which school I apply for? I heard that nursing it more interactive (they have robots and such)... but anyways, what are the differences? Do they both equally prepare you well for med school? Disadvantages/advantages? Also, it seems like it wouldn't matter THAT much since you can "cross-pollinate" with classes (so if i were in the nursing school, i can take class in the CAS school).

Yes. It would matter what school you would go into. The Nursing School’s curriculum is very much different from a BBB, HSOC, or other pre-med program provided in CAS. From what I have observed, the biology and chemistry classes provided in the nursing school cover topics only geared towards nurses, whereas the science courses taught in CAS are more general and encompass a broader range of topics (maybe to prepare you more for the MCAT?). Additionally, if you did apply to the Nursing School and figure out that pre-med is still your interest, nursing classes like biology, chemistry, etc. would not transfer over to the College and fulfill pre-med requirements.
