@iman - none from mine. But then again, I’m an International applicant from a non-feeder school!! :p

If your stats are comparable with those of who were accepted ED - I’d think you’d have a good shot at getting in!! :)

What’s the most they can accept from a single school?

@acastila 25 are usually accepted from my school(11 were already accepted ED). I’m so nervous about decisions because I am definitely not good enough to be admitted unfortunately. I guess whatever happens, happens. March 28 needs to come faster lol. Good Luck guys! :D

Do you go to a top boarding school or something…

@nhiyenvo @william95 haha seriously… those are ridiculous numbers. 20-25 apply to penn from my school yearly and around 2-5 are accepted. it’s not looking good for me, i really hope i expressed my interest adequately… this is about to be a nerve-wracking month.

Had a spot at Wharton via the football team, but said nah that ain’t for me and am headed to ND baby

@nhiyenvo 25 accepted from one school!!! Just…wow.

As for me, I go to a noncompetitive public school where I am the only student applying to Penn (or any Ivy League, for that matter).

^
Lol! My graduating class has 25 students, and it’s the biggest grad class that we’ve had this far :P

@nhiyenvo - 25?? I mean 25 really??? Woah!!

Our graduating class size is 180 and 4, yes 4 of us applied to Ivies!! Haha!!
3 applied to Penn. (International student - so you can’t really compare but still)

@Ragdolls - 25? LOL!! Is your class small due to selectivity or just because of a lack of students??

Anyway - so how many of you have decisions lined up before Ivy Day on 28th??
I have:
–CWRU on 20th!! (Completely forgot about it, just received a mail regarding some program…)
–Northwestern before 28th March, maybe on 22nd. (This will surely be a pointer for Ivy day!! )

Grad. class of 50, one other applied to American colleges but didn’t get in to MIT, so didn’t go. (He did that last year as I’m applying a year late).

^Michigan could be before Ivy day, but it could be after. They release decisions every friday.

@irish6814: how long are you going to continue to tell people you turned down three Ivy FB programs to go to ND? The more you harp this, the worse you make ND appear. It’s rather childish.

My school is a top magnet school in Philly and PA so it is not that great compared to other schools on college confidential. My class has 610 students and is competitive but it sounds like any other regular public magnet school?

Any other UK or Irish applicants?!

^Sort of, I’m applying from a UK school.

hi i was wondering if you would all be willing to chance me for penn.

i rank 4th in a class of 90
i have received all A’s and only one B, which corresponds to a 3.97 gpa
i got a 31 on the ACT
i have over 65 college credits because i go to a charter school where we can take dual credit courses at a college
i am graduating with 2 associate degrees because of all of my college credits
i am positive that my teacher recommendations and counselor recommendations were really great
i am native american
i have participated in a native american alliance all of my life- this includes engaging in pow-wows and community service with each other
other extracurricular activities include being editor of a newspaper, producing my own podcast, making my own documentary on the syrian conflict, beta club president, student ambassador, started a philosophy club, national honor society member, hospital volunteer

^ oh hai there ■■■■■

sorry i was not meaning to ■■■■■. i googled “penn likely letters” to see if anyone had received any emails about likely acceptance and this thread popped up so i made an account to talk to you all. can you tell me what you think about my chances? thanks so much.

zsigmondy shaky but no one really knows.

@zsigmondy I think you have a good chance of getting in, being Native American helps a tremendous amount.

So apparently Penn sent out likely letters today. Anyone here get any?
