I was accepted for Digital Media Design. I really excited as it almost perfectly aligns with my two main interests--video games and film. Since it is not really publicized on these forums alot, Im just wondering if anybody has any feedback on the program. i.e. difficulty, availability of internships, potential job placement.

I live in a house with 3 DMD kids. They're all very talented and interesting and fun people who seem to always be doing some cool stuff.

And they landed some sweet jobs. One will be working for Pixar, and one interned at--accepted a full-time offer with--Apple.

He also got a full-time offer from Microsoft, but who wants to work there? :P

The DMD people I know are all cool, mostly brilliant, and have amazing opportunities available. It's hard work though, and scheduling all of your classes in a suitable manner can be tough. Are you really good at art and math? There aren't many people in this world who are, and a DMD student needs to be.

thanks for the info. It sounds like a pretty intense but fun program. Hope I can do well in it haha.

My daughter is thinking of applying to DMD. She has written to Amy Calhoun. No reply yet. What would you suggest for her portfolio…
