Upenn Early Decision Deadline Extended

<p>Since you are considering applying to the University of Pennsylvania, we are writing to inform you that due to severe weather predicted to hit the east coast, hurricane Sandy, the deadline for admission under the Early Decision Program has been extended to 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6, 2012.</p>

<p>This extension includes forms from both applicants and school officials for all candidates regardless of their place of residency. An application for financial aid can be submitted by November 15, 2012 to be evaluated for a package to be provided at the time of decision release.</p>

<p>To apply to the University of Pennsylvania you must complete and submit both the Common Application and the Penn Supplement to the Common Application. Early Decision applicants receive their Penn admission decision by mid-December. The Regular Decision application deadline is January 1, 2013, and applicants receive their Penn admission decision in late March of 2013.</p>

<p>Whether you decide to apply Early or Regular Decision, we wish you a successful college search and hope you will strongly consider the University of Pennsylvania.</p>
