I applied Early Decision on October 2nd. Some of my friends in the same city have received interviewed requests, but I have not. Should i be worried?

what does a likely letter mean? and do only recruits receive them?

are the interviews pretty casual conversations or serious q&a ?
@co2017co I just had mine. It was insanely casual. No trick questions, just got to know each other. That being said, there have been interviews where kids got grilled. Be ready to be grilled but also talk in a professional yet personal way so they get to know you.

My alumni interview only lasted 15 minutes. My interviewer only asked around 4-5 questions, but she was very nice. Should I be worried because my interview was so short?

@boundless1258 I wouldn’t sweat it. My interviewer explained (also college confidential talks about) the interviews are just a piece to confirm what the admissions officers see from your application already. If your admissions decision is on the line, the interview might push it one way or another hopefully.

@plshelpmicollege he never gave me his number, or his email even. he’s a doctor and his office manager was doing the contacting lol very weird situation overall
Had my interview today with a very kind lady from the area. She asked me no explicit questions to put me on the spot and it was truly a great conversation. Don’t be nervous.
Mine lasted around 45 minutes.
Got an email saying I would be invited to an interview a few days after submission but no offer yet 
Also, does anyone else still have application materials listed as ‘awaiting’ on their portal? It says that for my school rec and transcript, even though my counsellor submitted through common app… I know online Penn says they’ll contact you if you’re missing stuff but I’m more than a little worried at this point.
@laTrinity Same… still waiting on that interview. Also, for your application materials, I would call the admissions office and check to make sure they’ve received it through the common app.
