Is it strange that I just got my interview call yesterday? The interview is two days from now… I mean they must have gone through all the applications by now right?? Will the interview even be considered if they have already read my file?
i havnet had mine requested but an admissions officer told me that they request them for some people if they want to see them
@senjiruven Interviews are run by local alumni coordinators and are parallel with the admission process.
On the same way as @queenharambe did, let’s shed some positivity out here! There’s nothing we can do at this point to boost our application so why stress ourselves with scores and gpas and chances. Y’all have applied and now its up to the admissions officers, so let’s chill! To promote that, I’m gonna ask you guys a very serious question : What’s your favorite type of music?

I listen to a bunch of stuff! It depends on my mood, but I’ve recently been enjoying Michael Jackson, Bastille, BANKS, The Weeknd, and some hip hop thrown in there. When I’m feeling really stressed out I listen to choir music (lol). Also currently listening to Christmas music.
Hey everyone, I’ve been creeping around this thread for a while so I thought I’d just drop in to share the angst, haha. Just as a side note, I had my interview about a week a week ago and it was actually pretty intense. My interviewer was very organized, detail-oriented, and took about 5 pages of notes 8-| I hope it went well though!
Anyways, to answer your question, my favorite type of music isn’t defined by genre. I’m more inclined to follow certain artists I like, i.e. Christina Aguilera

You guys have such interesting tastes in music! I’ve never listened to choir music or classical, but Christina Aguilera and The Weeknd are more in my spectrum.
I’m a huge hip-hop fan, especially of 90s to modern day, NYC/Atlanta rap. Anything from JoeyB to JayZ to ASAP rocky, I’m into. (Yeah I know, I’m mainstream ahaha)
I like the Weeknd, but I also listen to Chopin. I am a fan of sad girl artists for some reason, but I also like artists like MGMT and Julia and Angus Stone
When do you guys think they’ll tell us the decision date?

Have you watched the TV Show Atlanta? It’s about an upcoming Atlanta rapper and is pretty entertaining. My theater teacher and I secretly gossip about it all the time.
@clh7699 not exactly sure, but people have been saying probably the 9th or the 16th because they usually release the decisions on a Friday. But last year Dean Furda released the date of the decisions in early november!! aggh so frustrating I want to know the date now to prepare haha.
I just want to be able to have a mental countdown! Right now I just feel like I’m waiting for a random day and it’s so scary…I’ve read on previous years’ threads that they sent an email telling us the date but it looks like they haven’t decided yet! I’ve also looked on their social media, website, newspaper, portal, etc and I can’t find any mention of a release date.
