I got an email last week requesting an interview and have it later this week (I submitted my application October 19th). How did it go for anyone that has had their interview already?
Anyone know when decisions will be released in December?
I got an email this morning. My interview will be this Thursday!
Decisions for ED will be released 14-16 (Mid-December). I’ve heard that they will be released late in the day on December 15th also. Just know that it will be in or near that time frame.
They usually release it on Friday afternoon. So, most likely 12/15 .
Penn released decisions on the second Friday of December in the past two years, so if the trend continues, it could be 12/8.
Applied Wharton ED with 36 superscore Act and 1550 SAT with an 800 Math Level 2. 5.17/5 GPA. Top 3 of 132 in my class. With really good ECs and hopefully good recs(I didn’t get to read them). I have my interview this Thursday. What do people think of my chance?

@Yarnweaver You’ll typically get an email, but we are also given applicant’s phone numbers so it’s possible an older interviewer will call you.
I live in NEPA (Northeastern Pennslyvania) just 2 hours outside Penn. I have not been contacted for an interview yet. Should I be worried?
@hamiltondebater Interview reports are due on the 21st, so you still have some time. I wouldn’t be too worried. Also, you don’t necessarily need an interview to be admitted.
Did we need to do anything beyond applying to receive an interview?
@WashUH0peful no. I got an email this week, so you’ll probably get one before the end of the month
@TakeruR just did mine today, and it was really casual. We first just talked about school and how everything was going, and then he got into the “formal” part of the interview which was still very casual and conversation-like. It’s very easy-going so don’t fret
