@vegucated26 I wrote my common app on my experiences with diabetes and how I had to overcome it to go to ice skating Nationals. I wrote my Penn essay on my love for languages and finance and how I plan to combine the two through Wharton’s use of concentrations.
I am the first person ever from my school to do Penn ED could that help do you think?
@vegucated26 I wrote my CA essay about a banana
@Animanitee THANK GOD I thought i was the only one who wrote really obscure and strange essays… I wrote my CA essay about coffee and my Penn essay about airports and made it centered around a metaphor lol
@vegucated26 it’s ok dude i wrote mine about a damn wall lmao
@vegucated26 I wrote my CA about being homeschooled through middle school and my Penn supp about how I have a deep curiosity about the world, specifically the mircroworld, and how SEAS’s research programs would allow me to pursue my curiosity.
@JonEilish sounds like something i would do too lol my english teacher always makes fun of me for writing about the smallest things
just reread my essays and I don’t know what I was thinking when I submitted them
I wrote my common app essay about being a mess (most kids dont write about that I assume)
i wrote about a failure, but compared to y’all, that failure is probably a joke
I wrote mine about mosquitoes lol
wrote mine about a japanese gothic rock band and how i became so obsessed with the guitarist i self-taught myself the guitar to make music covers of their songs, eventually creating a facebook group with fans like me from around the world. its really geeky but i got no regrets
@Calipg lol that was me right before I submitted my Penn app
Congrats (: I hope I get in, Ive been really nervous. Did they send an email? How did they let you know you got your decision today?
And is it possible to get into seas without subject test?
MODERATOR’S NOTE:
Penn does not release selected decisions early. So when a user who registered today says s/he got a decision, it’s a person living under a bridge. Several posts deleted.
oh… so it was a ruse the whole time…
That’s so annoying!!!
i missed out. what happened??
@plshmucolleges Some users claimed they were accepted today because they were top 1% of applicants. Of course, it was all a trick and none of that actually happened.
