UPenn ED Class of 2022 Discussion

This is all just our (and the internet’s) opinion , though. Penn may have a different attitude, who knows?

@GalladeAggron @vaselineeee @Dlo_99 alright, thank you guyss!!

Does it help your chances if you’re a girl applying to mechanical engineering from a rural state that lacks in education?

If scores are looked at in context by region, then what would be considered a competitive score for the south?

@lalaloopy I heard that they’re trying to get more rural applicants this year, so I’d say that it would help if you still meet most of the criteria. Also, being a girl for engineering should also help! Do you lack educational opportunities? Or are you just mentioning the rural part because others in your state do?

anybody applied for computer and cognitive science: AI ???

What did everyone write their penn/common app essay about??

wait… did we have to send in our official AP scores?

Does anyone know if there’s a fact sheet that shows how many people apply for each major?

No

I honestly do not think that Penn has a “filtering” process. If a university says they have a holistic approach to admissions, they cannot do otherwise. Penn has an entire tab on their admissions website about being holistic. Don’t worry too much about your stats guys : )

Anyone apply for STSC? Science, technology, and society

i just realized 5 other people at my school applied to Penn ED…welp that doesn’t help

I’m literally going to get my result one day after my birthday…I’m freaking out. BTW anybody applying for Criminology?(probably only me)

@Camfingercross I applied for criminology too

@GeoffJ two others applied ed at my school, Im first in my class but they’re both in the top 10 and one’s a legacy so mL

@GeoffJ same. 4 others :frowning:

I think I was the only one, not sure though. Not many kids from my school think about the east coast lol

isn’t it crazy to think that we would have gotten our results yesterday if it weren’t for the natural disasters?? the next 3-4 days will be eternal D:
