Is this Early plan allowed? I tried searching, but couldnt find anything explicitly addressing this and one person told me I cant, but then again I hear I can too

ED Wharton
EA MIT

EA Chicago

Can I apply to these 3 early programs together?
I'm mostly concerned with combining ED with EA--> I know Wharton says i cannot do ANOTHER ED, but what about an EA? Does MIT have restrictions too? None of these are SCEA right

Not quite right. Some EA colleges’ rules forbid applying to them EA if you are applying anywhere ED, but permit you to have multiple EA applications outstanding. Georgetown and Boston College have that rule.

Also, most ED colleges’ rules permit you to apply EA elsewhere at the same time, but some don’t. Penn (including Wharton) says it’s OK; Brown says it isn’t.

So you can apply EA to Georgetown, Chicago, and MIT. And, yes, you can apply ED to Penn and EA to Chicago and MIT. But you can’t apply ED to Penn and EA to Georgetown and Chicago (the Chicago part is fine, but the Georgetown part isn’t), or ED to Brown and EA to Chicago and MIT.

you have to go to penn, since early decision is binding - unless financial aid is insufficient enough that it would create hardship, at which point you’d be released from the early decision contract
