take the sat again, they'll superscore. dunno bout ur chances.
i kinda have the same sat score except with 630 cr, 800 m, 800 w. but that was my second time (first time got 700 cr)

Uh, you don't honestly expect someone to evaluate your chances based on an SAT score do you? Seriously, there's more to admission than that. A 650 CR is below their median, but I highly doubt it alone would keep you out.

I think brd's suggestion to "take the sat again" is absolutely ridiculous. Spend your time doing something more useful.

GoldShadow: This is why I didn't post in "What are my Chances." I was just wondering what would happen assuming that I had an above Penn-average application, given only that SAT.

Most of the really selective colleges will have an abundance of over qualified applicants. I think your scores are fine; at this point you should look at what sets up apart from all the other "high achieving, laundry list of ECs" applicants. What makes you special? I would think that something that sets you apart from the pack would be of more benefit than another 800.

If you think you can do better, and want to take it again, do so - but I personally think that if they want to admit you based on what sets you apart from all the others (orgninal research? special talent? etc...) it won't matter. And, if they aren't inclined to admit you - scores aside - the extra points probably won't matter either.
