UPenn Essay

Will anyone read my Why Penn essay?? Any criticism is welcome. I am primarily wondering whether my answer is focused enough or if I should be more specific within my answer.
Thanks...

Prompt: Considering both the specific undergraduate school or program to which you are applying and the broader University of Pennsylvania community, what academic, research, and/or extracurricular paths do you see yourself exploring at Penn?

What’s the word limit for Penn, exactly? It says one page and in parentheses it says approx. 500?

Doesn’t have a word limit. My essay is about 530 words right now.

I’m applying this year as well, but mine has been submitted for quite some time. I’d be willing to read if you’d like.

Is yours single spaced or double…?

i’ll read it, PM me :)

I would say you know when it is specific if you use examples, like certain departments or research projects you want to work in, they just want to see if you know about the UPenn academic environment. Use specific examples and you shall be fine. Good Luck!

No specific word limit, but I think in most cases you would be wise to keep it as close to 500 words as possible

pm me. i can take a look.

id love to read it
pm me

PM it over. App already submitted

Parent of son who got into PENN ED. Read his and other friends who did not get in, and can see patterns.
