I know The Wharton School at UPenn "strongly recommends" that undergraduates take the highest level of Calculus available at your high school (which for me is AP Calculus AB), but I was wondering if taking AP Statistics and Honors Calculus would look just as good?

You’re better off eschewing AP Stats and taking AP Calc AB instead. Think of what your competition’s transcripts look like…

I agree with T26E4. You should take the hardest math courses available. You will end up competing with many kids like my son (a current freshman at Wharton) who took AP Calculus BC as a junior and AP Stats and Advanced Topics (college level differential calculus) as a senior in high school.

Got it. Thank you both!
