What calculus does UPENN Wharton want?

I was wondering what level Calc Wharton wants. At my school, I can take Calc AB as a junior, and then either take Calc BC or Stats as a senior. (all of these count as AP courses). I think that AB might be enough calc, and then Stats can help give me a good foundation in business. So what course should I end up taking: Calc BC or Stats?

Penn AP credit: http://www.admissions.upenn.edu/apply/freshman-admission/externalexamcredit

Penn Wharton curriculum: https://undergrad-inside.wharton.upenn.edu/sample-curriculum-2017/

5 on calculus BC will cover MATH 104
5 on statistics will cover STAT 101
Both of the above are requirements in the Wharton curriculum.

Note: Penn names calculus courses differently from most other schools.
Penn MATH 103 “introduction to calculus” = other colleges’ calculus 1 = high school AB
Penn MATH 104 “calculus 1” = other colleges’ calculus 2 = high school BC
Penn MATH 114 “calculus 2” = other colleges’ calculus 3 or multivariable calculus
Penn MATH 110 “Wharton calculus” = other colleges’ calculus 2 for business majors and other math topics for business majors

I would definitely take Calc BC. If you get a 5 on that you can save yourself a class. Even if you don’t get a 5, you will have given yourself a big leg up on Math 104.

Schools will also view Calc BC as more rigorous than Stat.

Thanks for the help guys.

Calc B.C for sure !
