I had my interview last month, it was awesome! Unfortunately it isn’t a make or break decision. It would be a dream come true if I got in tho lol
Guys, my interviewer has been ignoring me with a fervent passion ever since he himself contacted me. He emailed me about 4 days ago offering an interview (an email that included a virtual bragging session about his spoke english company) and I responded stating that I needed a day to recuperate from the accident I met wth recently. And this dude has been dodging or blatantly disconnecting my texts, phone calls and emails ever since. I called up his company and asked his people if he was alright. And they said he was out of town so they don’t know what the sH*t is up with him. I’m just annoyed/scared about this entire debacle. What should I do?
@rahuilmars231 If the Penn alumnus drops the ball on your interview, it will not be held against you.
Ended up getting a phone interview last week and completely tanked it! Does anyone know how much the interview factors into the decision process? I applied to Wharton so I assume I’m doomed now
So no likely letters yet?
Even I’m curious about the likelies
I would expect the Daily Pennsylvanian to publish an article when they release LL’s since they did last year.
@TheWaffleMan149 they posted an article the second they were sent or like a couple days after?
@baller55 If I am not mistaken, that day
The DP article came out in March. Likely letters for RD started to go out in February

There were two articles @skieurope
One in February (day of), and a second in March
Oh, you’re right @TheWaffleMan149
http://www.thedp.com/article/2015/02/200-applicants-to-receive-likely-letters
I wouldn’t read anything into the fact that the DP didn’t run a story about them yet.
For ED deferred applicants, did you submit your midyear updates in the portal yet? They suggest mid-February but I haven’t submitted mine yet
Any RD LSM applicants here?
How important are the MIDYEAR reports anyways? How will the admission officers count this report for RD applicants?
@beaglee105 Midyear reports matter insofar as they affect rank or GPA; they also indicate any improvement, drop, or consistency in academic achievement, as well as any schedule changes.
In short, a noticeable drop in grades or the dropping of a difficult course could be seen negatively, while improving or even consistent grades can be positive.
I emailed Penn that my school doesn’t issue MYRs and they replied saying that it’s alright. They do have my predicted scores though, so I think that supersedes MYR
@McKilla99 what does “predicted scores” mean? It seems odd that your high school does not issue a Mid-Year Report
@northstarfx Maybe it means IB predicted scores.
Are there any nursing applicants here?
