@yoyo27 Touché, but the wait for any expected college decision is a bit stressful. I guess that’s why we’re both on this site, along with many others, huh?
@aBitOfLuck Yup
@shemp903 Dang it. So I guess I got rejected so hard they won’t even bother telling me when my rejection letter is coming?
I think I am taking this Ivy League decisions way too seriously. Lol. I even made a countdown for March 31st 5PM. 7days 20hr more :((
Good Luck Geniuses. :)>-
Lol @HelloEveryone27 I have had a countdown since early December :))
considering most people have received the email it very well could be that those who didn’t get one actually got in ;))
@jpa0115 maybe actually, I’m getting rejected and I got an email lol.
Jokes aside, my friends who applied ED got a similar email and were accepted.
@Meander what sort of email did people who were rejected/deferred get?
@marie122 No idear
Can some of you ED applicants shed some light on this situation? I think we’re reading too much into this, but I think we’re all the point where we need to relieve some stress.
EVERYBODY is sent the email! Penn doesn’t give “hints” by only telling some people when decisions are released. If you didn’t get the email, then it’s either in your junk, spam or promotion folder, or there is something wrong with the email address on file. (or for some reason, it bounced back) Penn would never try to create a frenzy over an email - but if you’re so worried, call admissions, and let them know you never received it.
Lol chill… everyone gets the email
I asked the magic eight ball if I got in…UPenn Class of 2020!
This wait is entirely too stressful and I pray that I was accepted.
@jpa0115 I don’t think that’s true… I got the email but I got a LL for school of nursing a while back
Ok… So, I wasn’t going to say this at first but since someone said about the magic eight ball, I have to now.
There is an app called Yodha, where Astrologers from Nepal answer/make predictions to ur questions.
1st question is free and the rest u have to pay $3.99/question. I already spent $20 on this app… This is how much I am into fortunes.
Anyways I have been using this app for like a year now. In January 2016, I asked them how many schools will I get accepted into out of 9 schools that I applied to. The astrologer said they can’t tell me the exact the number but I will be satisfied with the result.
In February, I asked again “if I will be moving out to different place in August 2016 . And if so, what direction?”
They said I will be moving out to different place and they cannot tell me the exact place BUT they told me that I will be moving toward SW direction. [NOW HERE IS THE IMPORTANT PART] Upenn is the only school that is in the SW direction of my house. Dun Dun Dun!
The first 4 questions had come true. I am not kidding here. They only know my DOB (time too) , name and brith place. That’s it. One time they even predicted that my relatives will be coming to my house from another state, which was not planned. They even told me that they would come at the end of the week and they came on Saturday.
Tried it. LOL. Who knows. And many other people said their predictions are correct.
PS I am perfectly normal btw.
@HelloEveryone27 That’s really cool to know, but with 4 dollars a question, (and the fact that I have always been pessimistic regarding astrology), I really don’t want to risk it. :)) :))
It would really suck if they predict that I might get in, but then get rejected, because sadness after elation would suck even more. :((
But given the amount of stress everyone is under, I think it won’t be of any harm if anyone does end up trying it. It might actually be quite fun too!
Hey, you all want to really know whether you got in or not?
Well, it’s a bit of a secret, but on March 31st at 17:00 EDT, a special email is sent to all applicants with their decision.
Anything else is hearsay and poppycock.
@HelloEveryone27 i just downloaded it and asked i just need something to entertain myself for the next week lol
