@Optimyst Mine asked me about how I became interested in Penn, what I wanted to study, what I wanted to get involved in when I was there, and what part of me that was not shown on my application that I want the admissions committee to see
@anotherdude I’m almost positive that it’s not true that they all receive a likely letter. First of all, the ED dual degree admits this year were notified with everybody else, and last year I heard of two dual degree admitted students who never said anything about getting a likely letter before the spring decision date. But if someone else knows otherwise, please share.
When do likely letters come out, out of curiosity? Not that I am expecting to get in whatsoever, but just out of curiosity
Hey guys, I have a question about MidYear reports. Does Penn want us to submit them through Naviance or Common App?
@crystalball13 I think your college counselor usually submits those by mail. At least that’s how it works at my school.
I think I’m literally the only person who applied to the artificial intelligence dual degree. Hopefully that means I’ll get in but who knows lol. I have to retake my subject tests Feb 20 (snowstorm), which is annoying because I was really looking to get those out of the way but at least now I have time to study. Penn has said that they will accept the scores
Last year, they started to go out on 2/12 and continued throughout March. Now before anybody gets out of control, know that the vast majority of accepted applicants donot receive a likely letter, so read nothing into it.
@Optimyst mine was super chill… it really was just a conversation and she told me about her experiences at Penn. she said that Penn gave her a list of questions and training but she didn’t like it so we just talked about stuff in general ahah
Hello everyone! Im a deferred LSM ED applicant
My interview went really well today!
If I wasn’t contacted about an interview, is it likely that I will be?
@Rafalala It depends on availability within your region I guess. However, the chances of not being contacted are unlikely, as Penn interviews the vast majority of its applicants.
Deferred ED applicant finally returning to this thread! I finally emailed the admissions officer a couple of days ago with a letter that expresses that Penn is still my number one choice Fingers still crossed for the spring…
Is it true that dual degree program candidates will only have their secondary essays evaluated if they are first accepted to the school?
Does anyone know if applicants are still being contacted for interviews? I haven’t heard from anyone for one and I live in an area close to Penn that has a good amount of alumni. The website says between December and February so I wasn’t sure if that included February.
Is anyone else having trouble viewing PFAS? Is it okay if we submit late?
Had a great interview today!!
@Penn1248 I was contacted last Sunday, so I guess there is still hope left that you will be contacted this week.
For the financial aid supplement, when is that due? Do I only fill it out if I get accepted? Also has Penn released their decision day yet?
