Did anyone get an email about an interview? I got one about an alum interview and they never contacted me again… 
just had my interview today and it went horrible… no hope anymore lol

I haven’t gotten contacted and i live in an area populated with alumni. I am nervous. WHY! Penn is my first choice and i need this interview
Was the email from Penn? I haven’t gotten any email about an interview. i only got a confirmation of my application. Do I still have hope to get an interview? It is so frustrating.
Does anyone know when penn announces when they will release decisions? And do they send an email saying the release date or is it just on their website?

Just had my interview. It went pretty well.
I applied regular. If I have strong ECs and a strong GPA do you think it will make up for weak ACT scores? (27). Also if the gymnastics coach leans on admissions a little to get me in do you think it will help my chances??
@businessg101 Yeah, the email was from Penn… I can’t find it in my inbox right now but it said something along the lines of being selected for an alum interview and being contacted soon… Haven’t heard back yet
@Ringer01 It partially depends on just how weak your ACT score is and also what program you are applying to. Wharton would be the hardest with low standardized test scores and Nursing would be the easiest. Some students do get admitted with around 30 ACT / 2000 SAT, but the rest of the package needs to be solid.
@northstarfx the score was a 27. I applied to the engineering school. Their middle 50 is 30-34 so that means there is 25% admitted above and below it but idk…
IMO, a 27 is too low for Penn
@wagncy same, i haven’t heard from Penn and i got that email too. do you think we still have hope? or have admissions probably looked at our applications…
@businessg101 I don’t think that they looked at your app and then decided not to assign an interviewer to you. I got the email from Penn in early January and I also thought that I would not be contacted anymore. But on January 31st, I got an email from an alum (she had no other info about me than my address, therefore, she would not have selected the students to be interviewed based on possible chances of admission). So, I guess that it’s completely random, and maybe the alums in your area have too many other students that they just cannot interview all of them.
@saphys @businessg101 you have a point there! I just really wish I got the interview! Another girl from my school got one though and we’re from the same area… Is it just by chance?
In my area they held an event so pretty much all of the applicants in my area had their interviews on the same day
Will there be an issue if I submit the PFAS late? The deadline was Feb 1st.
