I have no idea what I want. I have dreamed of going to UNC, but not I am accepted in Washu( w/ a full ride) and Upenn and im so confused. I have yet to hear financial aid at the other two schools, but odds are they will all give me a lot of money due to my income. I am visiting Washu in a weeks time, and hoping upenn can pay my way for me to visit them.

Idk if i want to work extremely hard at a school, or if i want a decent school where I can have fun(UNC). This is truly going to be the hardest decision of my life.

I want to do pre-med, and major in philosophy,or psychology, or something of the sort if that helps.

If you have in-state tuition for UNC, combined with the fact that it’s your dream school AND are enthusiastic about the campus life there, I don’t see how you can decline to move to Chapel Hill.

(Although I will say that Penn indisputably has one of the best psychology departments in the country. Both cognitive behavioral therapy and positive psychology were developed at Penn…and then there are Robert Rescorla and Martin Seligman, no more needs be said.)

You can definitely work hard and have lots of fun at Penn. Lord knows I did ;)

i live in florida.

If we’re talking pre-med, Penn hands down. The other opportunities available at an ivy are also beyond compare. I don’t really think you have that much of a tough choice ahead of you.

Of course, since you are posting on the Penn board, most people here will be advising you to choose Penn. :P

I can’t give you any advice on which school is best-- they are all excellent. The best choice for YOU is whatever you want the most. Don’t choose solely based on prestige or what other people say is best for you. Make your own decision, and go to a school you love.

Have you visited UNC yet?
