<p>Hi I'm a rising senior who's interested in applying early decision to the University of Pennsylvania. The city area really appeals to me and I'm hoping to utilize Philly as much as possible (assuming that I get in of course haha). The hospitals in particular attract me because I'm planning to do pre-med. Is it possible to volunteer or work at the emergency centers, and maybe help the emergency vehicle crew members? Although any advice/info about interning at the hospitals is appreciated, I'm most interested in the emergency center. That aspect of the hospital just seems like an exciting place to experience. So is this fanciful idea of mine even possible? If so, how do I apply for a position?
