From deep inside the Pitt website…
We operate on a rolling admission policy for these places in our class. This means there is no specific deadline to apply for admission, but it is to your advantage to plan ahead and apply early. This is because some of our graduate school guaranteed admission programs either have deadlines or fill up quickly.
Yes, @nervousforcollege, Pitt operates on a rolling deadline, as @STEM2017 indicates above. I seem to remember a Dec. 1 deadline for them in years past but I can’t locate it online.
We tell most of our students applying to schools with rolling admissions deadlines to go ahead and apply by November 1st, just to ensure they get their applications in early.
It is also worth noting that Pitt has become much more selective in the past 10-15 years and certainly there are advantages to getting your application in early. Best of luck to you!
If you are hoping for merit, you need to apply before Dec 15th.
Hello, @nervousforcollege!
As others have already said, applying early is to your advantage, but we operate on a rolling admissions deadline.
If you are interested in any of these programs, there are deadlines you should be aware of:
Scholarship consideration: December 15

The Physician Assistant Guaranteed Admissions Program: December 1

The Medical School Guaranteed Admissions Program: November 15

Best,
A Pitt Admissions Staffer
You should also apply early if you are interested in the conditional pharmacy admission.
