Uploading essays as a .txt file

So I had to upload all my essays in .txt format (essays saved as Plain Text) because no other format is working for me for some reason. My concern is that the way my essays are formatted in this format won't look too professional. The titles are all aligned to the left and the entire essay is single spaced. In fact, my first sentence happens to start right below the left aligned title! Unfortunately, I can't find a way to rectify this in the .txt format. Is this going to be a problem for me? Is there a way to edit the essays in .txt format? Thanks.

No, this is really not a big deal. I don’t think formatting is nearly as important as content, and as long as its legible, there should be no problem. Don’t worry about the .txt files. :)

Looking at the uploaded document, can you tell when one paragraph ends and another begins? If not, I think that might be a problem.

Did you try pdf format? That’s the best for preserving format, I think.

What browser are you using? Internet Explorer seems to work best.

I finally figured out that Firefox is the culprit of my problems. I’m having no trouble using Internet Explorer now. Thx guys.

Glad to hear it worked out. Firefox was the problem at our house as well.

Ditto, Internet Explorer seemed to work much better than Firefox here.

THANK YOU for the tip about internet explorer. It worked! :D

Glad to hear!

I used .txt. Paragraphs are visible, which is the only major thing I think.
