Upper division math @ Ucla required for a transfer student?

Does any know if math is required for us transfer students who are not taking a math related major (econ, math, sciences). I am a poly sci major so am i going to be killing myself there too after taking statistics at ccc or does that meet the last math i will ever need??

For psych majors you take an upper division stats class which goes in-depth of the stats you learn in the community college.

go check all the upper division courses you need to take for your major through the ucla website.

stats is the last class you will need.

Liz-
The stat class i am currently taking at ccc? I checked the major and one of the 5 concentrations says stats 6, but i want american politics as a concentration, not methods and models

yes the stats class at cc should suffice

As a fellow Bruin also transferring to UCLA as a polisci major I also dreaded the prospect of another stats class. Luckily, like you, I’m not concentrating in methods and models. I’m concentrating in political theory, and from what the department adviser told me math classes are no longer needed.
