What's the best upperclassmen housing ? Pros and cons of each ? Thanks !

Hello, I’m a current senior at NEU. I saw your post and that nobody had responded so I figured that I would respond. The best (and most expensive) on-campus housing is basically anything in West Village. I currently live in one of the WV buildings and have temperature control in my bedroom, full kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator, etc., common room with huge windows, and a pretty spacious setting overall. Needless to say, the upperclassman housing in WV is very nice. However, anything outside of WV is a mixed bag. I’ve lived in some pretty poor places during other years but it was worth it to go to such a great school. With that being said, a large number of upperclassmen move to off-campus apartments so you will want to look into that as well.

Thank you for the reply ! I was starting to lose hope ! That’s good to know about west village. I have heard the same. Are there single rooms available ? And would you recommend a meal plan ?

Yes, there are both studios and single bedrooms that share a common area/kitchen/bathroom, etc (this is what I have). As for a meal plan as an upperclassman, it really depends on whether or not you like to cook/have the ability to do so. I’m not a master chef so I have a meal plan where I have a certain number of meals that I can use whenever I want over the course of the entire year. That’s something to consider but like I said, it depends on whether or not you can cook!

thank you so much ! =)))
