Upward grade trend?

<p>I had a terrible freshman year (picked the wrong major and did horribly)
Come sophomore year, I did great. Received almost all A's and straight A's in my major.</p>

<p>I am looking to transfer from a large 4-year university to a small private school.</p>

<p>I also have great recommendations.</p>

<p>Does my upward grade trend look good? Or does it not even matter?</p>
