Upward Trajectory Options

Hi I’m a sophomore from New York. I’ve had a rough start to high school. My overall freshmen year was an 85 average. My first semester of sophomore year was an overall 75 average. I bounced back this semester and got a 91. I got two 50s in math but brought my math grade up to a 93. I’m looking to become a geography/geology double major. SUNY colleges would be ideal for me because I get in state tuition. But considering if I keep an upward trend what schools should I be looking at.
Thank you.

If someone can answer this honestly it would be greatly appreciated

Are suny Binghamton, geneseo, Buffalo Albany, new paltz and oneonta realistic schools for me to get into. What about out of state options such as Clark university, university Colorado at Boulder, Utah, Washington, penn state, Wyoming etc. Are these realistic options or am I far off base

Colleges such as Oneonta and New Paltz should be realistic for you based on your final grades from this year. You could expand your list further if you continue to progress in your academics. You might also want to consider a school such as Juniata along with some of the others mentioned on this thread: http://talk.qa.collegeconfidential.com/discussion/comment/22269639#Comment_22269639.

How much can your family afford for school? Run the Net Price Calculators on the web site of each school to see how much they will cost. To assess your own chances google Common Data Set and look at section C to see how your stats compare. You’ll need an ACT or SAT score to help bracket yourself.

Well SUNY schools would be ideal and I pretty much match up with the sunys I mention except Binghamton
