Urban Studies Major?

<p>Hey everyone. Recently I've been really interested in Urban Studies but I don't really know too much about it. It looks a lot like sociology but with more practical applications, like urban planning. Is this assessment about right? And what schools have the best Urban Studies programs? I'm already going to Vassar next fall but I'm just curious. It's sort of a long shot, but does anyone know how Vassar's program is?</p>
