Urban Studies vs. Urban Studies and Planning

I have a couple of questions; first, UCB and UCI offer a B.A. in Urban Studies, and they both require Calculus 1; however, UCSD, the only campus that offers a B.A. in Urban Studies and Planning (I think) only requires Stats, which brings me to the following question: Is there some significant difference between these two majors? Also, I applied to UCSD as a Philosophy major; so, if I'm accepted, do you guys think I'll be able to declare a joint degree with Philosophy and Urban Studies & Planning?

Hi, I go to UCI for Urban Studies and it does not require Calculus, besides, UCSD’s program isn’t currently accredited. I want to go to grad school for a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning and I’m sure whether it’s a BA in Urban Studies or Urban Planning it will prepare me for that.

were you a transfer student ?
did you get accepted to UCI as Urban studies ? what was your GPA?
