I'm transfering from one catholic highschool to other a little bit better catholic high school this senior year.

My GPA and Rank is going to be 4.3, 7 out of 245 in school where I'm transfering. But my GPA and Rank of school where I've attended 10th and 11th grade was 3.58. 22 out of 119.

This huge difference between numbers is because of how those two schools deal with my grades from Korea(9th and 10th 1st semester).

Do you think which Transcript(GPA&Rank) do colleges more care about?
The school where I've attended 10th 2nd and 11th grade?
Or school where I'm transfering this senior year?

I think high school that I've attended previously(where they gave me 3.58, 22 out of 119) converted my GPA from Korea very unfarily. And it lowered my GPA and rank significantly. That's why I'm taking risk to transfer to another highschool where they don't combine my GPA from Korean highschool and American highschool

IMO...they will look at boh, but most likely more closely at the most recent hs attended--as it may equate to what you are capable of while attending college. Other factors are your test scores, ecs, recommendations and your essays...remember that is just my opinion-I am not the one in admissions looking at your file. Give it your best shot-strive for the university you feel is the best fit-Good Luck!

It depends where you are applying, but as I have recently gone through the transfer process for my senior year, it doesn't really matter where youve gone to school but the grades you got. At least at UC's, you won't be compared to the peers in your school until they have already made a yes or no decision. Honestly, they will look at both, and your counselor can probably explain this. During my whole process of the transfer, I realized that I was reading way to far into the details and I think that you will be absolutely fine either way they look.

I hope this might have helped a little maybe.
