urgent advice needed! take SAT 4 times?

hey guys,

I have already taken the SAT THREE(consecutive) times now in my junior year, and my scores were 2000,2100, 2160.

I thought that was enough, but after looking into some of the schools I want to apply to, I figured that I just need to bump it up a little more to be competitive.

should I take it just once more in the October of my senior year?

This would be my FOURTH time, and I am also planning on taking the physics subject test as well(I realize I will have to cancel one). I will not have taken the sat in 8 months, and I was wondering if I could surpass 2200 by just relying on the natural growth of my brain in these months...

should I take it a fourth time my senior yr. or just take the physics subject test? help!!! in a dilemma

If you do not have 2 satisfy SAT2 scores, take SAT2 instead. Statistics shows there is little improvement after the 3rd attempt. What would you do different from previous attempt to make you feel you can do better. It seems you are pretty close to your plateau if you are not there yet. Have you tried ACT? That may be a better alternative for you.

Take subject tests instead. Also, look at schools’ policies. Some schools (like Penn) require you to send every score.
