Hello,
I am a high school student, going into senior year this fall.

I have already taken the sat three times, twice in sophomore year, and once in junior year
and I am still unsure if I should take it a fourth time. It is really sad that i had to take it in sophomore year, and for "practice", but my parents insisted without really any research on when I should take it, and now i can't take those scores back. Back then I was really bad at English, since it wasn't my first language.

So far the highest score was 2080(770 Math, 620 Reading and 690 in writing), but i am looking at colleges like UCLA and Berkeley and I want to get into electrical or computer engineering. I feel like I need at least in the 2200s, because I attend a really competitive school and everybody is too smart for me. What I heard is that colleges compare you with the rest of your class, and if that's true my chances of getting to these schools are kind of slim.

I want to maximize my chances of getting into those schools, but I am not sure if it is a good idea to take the sat for the fourth time. I heard that taking the test more than three times is detrimental to getting accepted.

also For reference:

SAT Math II: 800
SAT Physics 760
SAT Japanese 800
I took 4 honors and 4 AP classes during my first three years, and will take 4 more AP classes senior year. I average A's and B's, never got c or below, and weighted GPA is about
4.2, unweighted i believe is 3.5 or 3.6, can't remember off the top of my head..
I also have volunteering and track and cross country for three years too. I couldn't get a position in the internships I tried out for so I am taking a C programming class at the community college close to where I live. Plus I took a college essay writing work shop so I am pretty confident with those.

I would like to get feedback on what I should do, whether to take the sat the fourth time, because during the summer I can still get ready for it when it comes October. I am losing sleep thinking about this so please any feedback and thoughts are appreciated...

Thanks.
