Urgent Advice needed

I am an international applicant undergoing my A levels. I applied to the UC santa barbara to pursue Mechanical Engineering. However, i think i made a few errors in my application like i left the High School Courses and Grades criteria blank and instead filled my O and A level results in the external exam section since we do not have high school in Pakistan. Moreover, i think i also made a bit of a hash in my essays 3 of my 4 essays had a few grammatical mistakes in them. Their idea is great and they are well written but there are a few mistakes. Like a big one was for example i wrote that " my made" instead of " I made". will i be heavily penalized for this and have set the ground for rejection?

PS: i did write them an email yesterday explaining that i didnt fill my courses section and instead filled the external exams section.

Thank You!

anyone can help? really freaking out here…

If you have documentation that you contacted admissions, that is all you can do at this point. Keep the documentation and if you are rejected due to filling out the application incorrectly, then you can appeal the decision by providing the correct information.

@Gumbymom i sometimes dont think it will be a problem, but do u think i can be rehected.because of that? and what about.my essays?

You might want to follow up with a phone mail to confirm that everything is fine with your application.

Yes, I agree with Gumbymom. If you are rejected, you may have a shot at an appeal if you have new info that wasn’t considered. See the appeals process here: http://admissions.sa.ucsb.edu/applying/appeal-process
