Hey all,

This is my first thread on cc I am self-studying AP Macroeconomics. I’ve been used to sort of self-studying through AP review books. However, I opened up the PR Macro book today and got disoriented on the first few pages of the Macro section part.

I have the McConnell textbook, which I heard was pretty easy to read. Which chapters specifically should I concentrate on for the Macro test? Do I need any other review books? Where can I get practice tests and outlines?

Thank you very much for your help!

Yeah definetely read the “Quick Review” boxes and the “Summary” at the end of each chapter in McConnell & Brue. I would skip the long math explanations - they can get confusing. Also, take advantage of past FRQs: [AP Central - The AP Macroeconomics Exam](<a href=“Supporting Students from Day One to Exam Day – AP Central | College Board”>Supporting Students from Day One to Exam Day – AP Central | College Board)

Good luck!

Thanks for your quick reply! However, does anyone recommend certain chapters of the textbook? I’m pretty sure AP Macro won’t require students to read all of the chapters…

Also, is PR the best review book for it? If not, please tell me!

Does anyone know any awesome website for Multiple Choice Questions? Does PR have MC questions that are very similar to the real thing?

Thanks a bunch! :D

im using five steps to a five.

Hey guys! If we’re using the 5 steps to a 5, which chapters should we concentrate on for Macroeconomics? It doesn’t divide it into specific sections as it does for AP Physics B and C. Thanks for everyone’s help :DD
