Urgent: Can I switch these majors?

<p>Is it possible for me to switch majors from Biology to Marketing?</p>

<p>I'm a transfer student who is moving in for the first time on the 29th, and I had a very difficult time figuring out what I wanted to major in. I've had a sinking feeling for the past few weeks about my prospective major, and I decided today that the sciences are not for me. I've always been very creative yet analytical and I feel like my talents are best suited toward Marketing/Advertising (if becoming a famous actor doesn't work out, that is). :)</p>

<p>Anyway, is this switch even possible since I've been accepted to Rose Hill (PLEASE tell me it is possible)...? I'm willing to do whatever it takes to switch. I really don't want to become that student who wastes time taking classes and then changes majors 3 times.</p>

<p>Also, since it falls under the College of Business Administration, can only people who have been specifically accepted into that college major in marketing?</p>

<p>Someone walk me through this please. I appreciate it a lot.</p>

<p>I think it is do-able for you but it would entail a transfer to CBA. But as you realized, the sooner you can do it, the better mainly so you can get in the best classes for your new major. Also CBA has a business core that you will want to start on. I would begin making calls on Monday. Unless anyone has a better idea, I’d try calling your academic advisor (if you have one assigned), the CBA office (you may ask who the advisor for your grade would be and talk to him/her), maybe admissions to see if they can make that change to CBA. Personally I would not wait until you get to campus to try to make this happen.</p>
