You can take up to three at one time. However, certain language tests are only offered during certain testing months so make sure to research it. To your Math II vs. Math I question, that all depends where you are applying to. If you are wanting to go to an Ivy League school or any school ranked in the top 25 national schools, you’re gonna need to take the Math II. If you are applying to a noncompetitive state school, you can take the Math I test. The difference is that Math I covers algebra, geometry, and basic trig. Math II covers advanced algebra, geometry, trig, and precalculus/calculus. Math II is generally a harder test.

Hey Smithg1227

thank you very much for the reply, you made the point very clear.

I am planning to take Japanese, which is my native language, and Math II either level 1 or 2, (Ive been studying level 2 one). I know it is not good to take your native language subject test, but I don’t have any other subject that i Can get good grades. (I tried to study US history, but it was too condensed and hard).

Japanese is offered during November, do you recommend I take Japanese and Math II in November and take reasoning test during october?

Thank you

Yes, that’s what I’m doing and I believe most students will do (Reasoning in Oct. and Subjects in Nov.)
If you can get a really good score (like 750 or above) on your Japanese test, I think most colleges will overlook that being your native language because you did so well on it. Good luck!
