<p>I was thinking Cal Poly Pomona would be my saftey school. But it seems the GPA and SAT requirements have increased over the years.</p>

Unweighted GPA = 3.67
(AP Calc B, AP Physics B, AP Bio)</p>
<p>SAT Math 2 = 670
SAT Biology = 650</p>
<p>Is this good enough for Chemical Engineering? Is it a sure in or a low match?</p>
<p>I think you have a good chance but definitely not a sure thing! If you are in the local service area, I believe you even have a better chance for acceptance say 70/30.</p>
<p>I think you’ve got a great shot. Apply elsewere to be safe.</p>
<p>I’m not so sure I could call any school a “safety school” when applying into an impacted major. Too many factors to consider.</p>
<p>they had a 54 percent acceptance rate last year for that particular major.</p>
