Urgent fee waiver question!

<p>Hey. I am an international student and applying to over 5 schools. If I were to pay the application fees, it will genuinely be a huge financial burden for my family. </p>

<p>I know it's pretty late but.. can I submit my fee waiver request today to the individual college’s admissions e-mail? </p>

<p>If it isn’t granted, will I still be able to pay after the deadline? (about Jan 1) </p>

<p>For now, I will indicate in CommonApp’s Payment section as ‘Other Fee Waiver Request’ to send the application. Is it okay?</p>

<p>Fee waiver details are usually worked out far in advance of the deadline as there are financial forms that need to be reviewed/approved by a school counselor, at least in the US. You may want to read more about this topic on the International section of CC as your rules and guidelines may be different. It’s possible you could pay after the deadline, but you may not be able to complete your submission without the payment or authorized fee waiver.</p>
