First question: Are there any other programs like HEOP out there for economically disadvantaged students?

Hello. I am an senior at a top top magnet school in NYC

89 (3.56) GPA. I failed math team once semester, and I did well one year and poorly the second in french.

2270 SAT, 800mathIIc, 730bio Should I take another satII?

Junior year: AP Music Theory (95, 4) and AP Statistics (70-75, 4)
Senior year: AP Calculus AB

Essays probably average. mediocre ECs

I will have one recommendation (history) and will probably have trouble getting a second.

I need to make a list of colleges quickly. I do not think I am eligible for EOP (requires <85 avg, and for SUNY. I think I can get into SUNYs), but what about HEOP? My income is in the lowest bracket. I haven't been able to find GPA or any other requirements. Since HEOP is for NY only and my school limits to 7 applications, I modified my original list to get some more NY schools in, and schools that require 1 recommendation in.

I am largely undecided so I want a well-rounded college, but I am interested in psychology, sociology, evolutionary biology, human ecology, economics, and business. I like the idea of a minor in music performance or theory.

The following preferences are NOT important and are only tip factors. I like a campus-centered community in or very near a major city, have a football team, and would prefer the university not have a humongous population and not be affiliated with a religion.

SUNY: binghamton, geneseo, buffalo, stonybrook (applications partially sent)
U Michigan (applications partially sent)
Oxford at Emory (I dont think I will apply to emory)
NYU (heop)
Vassar? (heop)
Cornell
BU or BC (help)

Any recommendations for other colleges? Can you list more colleges that will accept applications with only one rec? The list is due this friday, 3 days from now.

Thank you all.
