I have a few questions abut law school admissions. I am going to be a freshman in college (undergrad) next year and I really want to give myself a decent chance at a top law school.

What type of classes should I take (hard, easy, medium)

How do I handle internships?

How important are ECs?

Should I start studying for the LSAT the minute I get to college? (I know I will need a 170+ score to have any hope for a top law school so this part worries me)

Start late in your first semester. Advice for this varies tremendously based on which undergrad you go to. Your own college’s forum might be the best place to ask.

keep in mind that law school admissions are NOT like undergraduate admissions. they aren’t looking for well-rounded people whatsoever. they are looking for the academic superstars who ace both their coursework through GPA and the LSAT.

you know that “weird” kid that got a 1580 and was the valedictorian, but focused solely on school? the one that was rejected at every ivy? well chances are he/she would be accepted to the best law schools with open arms 4 years down the line LOL
