Urgent Math Help- The Hard Problems!

I feel like I have a very thorough understanding of most of the problems on the math portions of the test, but those hard problems at the end of the sections that throw curveballs at you every now and then stump me all the time! I have a very weak knowledge of trigonometry, my Algebra II is OK at best, and coordinate geometry just destroys me. Would working with a SAT Math II workbook help me out with these problems? I plan on taking the Math II test 2-3 months after the SAT, so I'll have to study it anyway.

Any input at all is greatly appreciated.

I don’t think it’d hurt. There’s always a simple way to do the last few problems, remember that.

I have no idea about the hard problems, and when it starts telling me to plug in variables into functions and then find values from a graph I get really confused. I’m hoping that a bit of Math II would help… would it be enough though?

A pre-calculus class or book should help a lot with elementary functions and coordinate systems.

my first math practice test beginning of the year i got a 580. then i decided that i should take SAT II math level 1 and i studied the year for that and i got a 720 in may. then i took the SAT I in june and i got 800 in math.

im going to retake the Math level 1 since i could do better. It was my first time taking any SAT so i was nervous and on practice tests i got 760-790’s(timed).

So my suggestion is that it does help but take the SAT II too since you study for it.

PS: study from Math level 1 not level 2.
