Urgent! Please help! Problems with MSM application!

<p>I'm in real desperate help!
I finished all of my application requirements and I was about to submit it today but the application says that I do not have all the requirements!
Apparently the problem was that I haven't put in my recommendation yet, and that's true.
However, the Manhattan School of Music site said that the deadline for the recommendation is in January so the recommendation is not done yet.
(Right here) (Manhattan</a> School of Music > Admissions > Apply To MSM > Application, Dates, & Deadlines)
But the priority application deadline is today! And seeing that the recommendation is a requirement in the application, I can't submit it!
I'm very confused and nervous, I was hoping someone may know a way to submit the application without sending the recommendation with it, or maybe tell me something they know that can help with the situation.</p>

<p>I know I'm submitting the application last minute but I didn't know this would be a problem...Please help!</p>

<p>They may want the names and contact info for recommenders, whom the school then contacts for letters.</p>

I have both the name and contact info in there, but it’s not submitting because the recommendation is not completed :frowning:
Do you maybe know if colleges accept applications even after the priority deadline?
I think that’s my only chance at the moment :(</p>

<p>This doesn’t make sense because the recommendations are not sent with the application but sent electronically by the recommenders themselves. So, all the application needs is their names and contact info. Are you sure you are reading the message correctly? Double-check that you have entered everything they are asking for. The missing information should be highlighted if it is required.</p>

<p>Sometimes these things are hidden in an additional layer - D had one where it looked like she had entered the info, but then the website really wanted more answers following that link. Keep clicking!</p>

<p>If the site still isn’t working, call them in the morning. If necessary, your post here will vouch for the fact that you had it done in time!!!</p>

<p>My daughter submitted an MSM app last night without recommendation letters and had no problem… but she had some trouble uploading her photo until she realized that they required a file with the extension .jpg (she was trying to upload a .png and was getting a strange message in computerspeak.) I hope you got your application up. If not, call admissions in the AM and explain what happened-- they are real people and will probably be happy to help you.</p>

<p>Double check to make sure you have proper e-mails for your references. It may be something as simple as that.</p>
