URGENT!!! Please Help With Roommate ESSAY

Procrastinating on college apps, once again! Anyway, I've finished all of the essays/responses for the Stanford app, aside from the roommate one. I'm not sure how to phrase this or even what to discuss. I've been advised to write a light essay, maybe about unique attributes of my personality.

I was thinking of writing one of the following:
1. My germophobia
2. Resilliance--not suceeding in many of my endeavors
3. My not being the most intelligent, but the hardest working
4. My introverted nature, detached but content

Actually, the list goes on. I can't determine what I'd actually want to write to a roommate that would be something I'd also share with an adcom. I don't want to write an essay that sounds pretentious--it should be something we'd give to our roommate, right? Then again, I don't want it to be to light, or else it won't sound like I'm taking the process seriously.

Anyway, I wanted general advice. Also, I'd greatly appreciate it if current Stanford students could post their responses. That way, I can get an idea of the format, along with what type of response is considered acceptable.

I'd greatly appreciate any assistance you guys can provide. I'm really in a bind with midterms and applications and any examples and guidance you could provide would be valued.

Thanks!

I'd think number 2 sounds like it could develop into something good. Don't pick a topic that would make you seem like someone you would not want to live with. You want to write it as if you are telling it to someone so it should sound conversational. Make it show one aspect of who you are. A bit of humor is fine but not a requirement.

Thanks, the hard part with #2 or any of them is making myself out to be someone a student would want to live with. Also, if I describe an experience, it'll turn out to be about 1/2-3/4 a page (not 1/3). In addition, I'm confused about how I should format it.

Some examples would be appreciated.
