So I thought I had sent my SAT scores back in the beginning of December, but I had also signed up for the January SAT subject test in Lit, and I didn't realize that my scores were never sent and that CollegeBoard was waiting for my Lit test results to send my scores. Anyways, I just realized this last friday, so I called Northwestern (just the regular undergrad admissions office) and told them the situation. They said they'd make a note of it and told me to rush report my scores, which I did.

Well anyways I got an email today saying that my application was incomplete because my official test scores were not yet received, which is not surprising. But I had a panic attack when I realized that HPME needed my scores a while ago, so I'm freaking out now.

wait, did you never send your chem and math scores? bc lit is not a requirement for HPME. Just call them tomorrow, Asap, and ask them/tell them about your situation. Let us know what they say, im curious about if they are still reviewing applications.

Yes, I know that lit is not a requirement. What I didn’t know was that ALL of my scores (SAT reasoning, math II, and lit) were not sent just because I had registered for the January Lit test.

I just responded to the email I received about my incomplete application, noting that I had applied to both the undergrad and HPME. My test scores should be on my transcript, so hopefully I will be ok, but I will ask my counselor to fax my test scores tomorrow just to make sure and hope that my application is still reviewed.

well, if its on your transcripts, im sure it wont matter.

and as for wanting “some advice”, theres nothing definitive anyone on here can tell you other than to find out from the ppl reviewing your application

I received an email today from the undergraduate school saying that my application was complete. So I called the HPME office, and she said that my application was still under review and that if I had cleared it up with the undergraduate school, I should be good to go.

So it seems like they are still reviewing applications, if I interpreted this whole situation correctly.
