I took the SAT Subject Test in Nov. It rained heavily and a lot of students couldn't come to the test center. However, I still tried hard to go to the test center and caught a cold. As a result, I didn't do well on the test. I wrote to CB and request them to let me retake the test in the makeup test date that they provided for absent test takers and of course, cancel all the previous Nov score. However, CB hasn't replied yet. I want to ask that does anyone have the same situation with me and have the chance to retest and cancel the previous result ?

(1) Being outside in the rain doesn't cause one to catch a cold.
(2) The effects of a cold wouldn't be visible right away anyways.

If you mean, however, that your wet and uncomfortable situation distracted you from doing well during the test, then I'm sorry to hear that. Best of luck. Worst case scenario is that you'll just have to pay the sitting fee again.

Thank for your answer. Actually, I felt very cold and exhausted while I took the test. Do you think CollegeBoard will allow me to retake the test in the makeup date and cancel the previous Nov result ? I am really worried right now !

I think they would have to.
Why? Because you can't take two SAT/SAT Subject tests during the period of one month.
Thats why if you take both the Saturday and Sunday SAT, only one will count.

Hope I can do this ! I hope I could retake the SAT Subject Tests in Nov and take the registered SAT Subject Test in Dec too.

Don't count on being able to retake the test. Anyone can say that they didn't feel good and need a retest; College Board isn't going to believe everyone.

I clearly know it ! However, I hope I could do it ! I didn't do well due to bad weather condition, not due to lack of ability !

Uh, I don't understand how you can justify them letting you have a free retake. Hell, I doubt your scores are even cancelled :P
